WHO AM I?
Hi! I’m Yael Chanukov—so glad you’re here.
I’m a New York–based actress and voice teacher working across television and theater. You can catch me on Apple TV+’s For All Mankind as Gulsora Akilmatova in Season 5 (premiering March 27, 2026). My stage work includes the Drama Desk Award–winning Amid Falling Walls and the critically acclaimed Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof. I’ve performed as Hodel at The Soraya in Los Angeles and at Drury Lane, where the production received a rave review from the Chicago Tribune. On screen, I’ve also appeared as Chava in Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Musical Theatre, and I’ve since built my career balancing professional performance with dedicated teaching. That dual perspective is at the core of my work.
I know what it takes to walk into the room prepared, grounded, and confident—not just vocally, but as a storyteller. My goal is to help students develop strong, reliable technique while unlocking their individuality as artists. Whether you’re preparing for auditions or building foundational skills, I create a space that is focused, supportive, and creatively fulfilling.
