WHO AM I?

Hi! My name is Yael Chanukov and I am so happy your are here! I am a professional musical theatre actress and voice teacher  based in New York. My past Off-Broadway credits include the Drama Desk Award winning production of Amid Falling Walls as well as the critically acclaimed Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof. I was also recently seen in as Hodel in The Drury Lane production of Fiddler on the Roof which received a rave review from the Chicago Tribune. You may also recognize me from when I played Chava in Season 5 of Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Since graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Northern Colorado with  BA in Musical Theatre back in 2020, I have dedicated me life to teaching and performing. I truly believe one helps and informs the other. After having been through countless successful auditions and challenging contracts I personally understand the importance of solid vocal and acting technique. I pass this knowledge on to my students as I help them achieve their dreams and express their creativity.
